I was excited about this dress, but when it arrived, it got me disappointed :(

The size runs much larger than the size chart, and the normal sizing of other clothes. I got size S and it is more like M or even L. The neckline has elastic but it's too wide and loose. It does not stay in place. I saw the band on the photos, and thought it was a functional band to control the neckline. but nope. the band is only to make a decorative bow. The neckline on the front sits loose and it gapes. making it revealing. The sleeves keep falling from the shoulders, and there is no way to make the elastic a bit tighter because the elastic is sewn on. and it only gets looser by every wear and wash.

The quality of the fabric and seaming are basic. I ordered it overseas and had to pay for long-distance shipping and customs. But bow it's not a wearable item for me. Unfortunately return is not a practical option, because you only get store credits after having to pay the shipping.

This is such a sweet dress, comfy and cute: I have loved wearing this for every day life around the house, and to church or errands around town. I’ve gotten so many compliments- it’s 100% cotton with cotton lining (yay!) and it’s cute with a sweater or jean jacket and cowgirl boots for cooler weather or sandals for summer!

Very pretty material, but not flattering if you have a larger bust unfortunately.

Beautiful dress flows very nicely however, even with use of the sizing chart. The top part of the dress is much larger than have been expected, but can wear a little sweater or shrug type thing with it. To keep it modest definitely a keeper will continue to shop from here.
